Originally Started by Glenn Flipse, he and his office manager Edith Daane were staples in the office for 20 plus years before Glenn's son Dennis Flipse came in to help as a licensed agent in 1989.
Dennis purchased the agency from his father in 2006 and became the President when Glenn retired. In 2013, Sally Bley was hired as an agent and she is now the personal lines manager for the agency. In late 2024, Dennis wanted to ensure his family business legacy continued well into the future, so he agreed to a purchase of the agency by Oostburg Financial Services LLC, a subsidiary of Oostburg Bancorp. And now a new chapter in the Agency's 60 year history has begun. Dennis and Sally remain committed to serving Flipse Insurance Agency customers and helping the agency grow to serve our surrounding communities.
